Here is another taste of our upcoming album Dividing Lines with a visualiser for the third single Complex.

 

Guitarist Karl Groom comments: “Complex was the 2nd song written for Dividing Lines and I love the energy that Johanne injected into the song, particularly on the pre-choruses. The idea for the solo came about by accident when I left a parallel pitch-shift on the lead sound whilst making the demo. We can’t wait to release the album and have the chance to tour again.”

Glynn Morgan comments on the song: “It’s about moving on, accepting defeat and just moving on, instead of spending the rest of your life blaming yourself or whoever for things not going the way you´d hoped. As hard as it may seem, don’t give up, just press reset, smile! grab your dreams and start over again, be the King of your own destiny! King of Nothing is the first single I have written for Threshold since Innocent back in 1994 during my first stint with the band, and it feels awesome and exciting to have one of my songs chosen for release as a single from the new album Dividing Lines.”

Richard West comments on the song: “Silenced is about how we seem to be heading towards less voices, less artists, less venues, less platforms where everyone can be heard. People seem so scared to speak out or debate anything anymore. I know I sound old but I miss the good old days! When freedom of speech goes then society is lost.”

Threshold’s box set ‘Paradox: The Singles Collection’ is out today as a double CD reissue. The 24 track collection features singles, exclusive remixes and previously unreleased tracks.

The original 2009 collector’s box set contained eight discs packaged in individual wallets and a 20 page booklet. The 2022 reissue includes all 24 tracks across two CDs in a double jewel case and an updated 12 page booklet.
